This exhibition centers on the issue of sexual harassment, focusing on real experiences that have been silenced, doubted, or suppressed. In a culture where even speaking about sex is taboo, shame and fear often compel people into silence. Within a society shaped by entrenched patriarchy, inadequate sex education, gendered media portrayals, and institutional gaps, survivors who speak up often face resistance and are pushed into repeatedly justifying themselves, sometimes even questioning their own experiences.

 

We titled the exhibition “吹哨者 | Break the Silence ” , symbolises the courage of survivors to speak up, also represents everyone who chooses no longer to remain silent, awaken a collective awareness of gender issues in society together. The exhibition journey moves from "revealing the struggle" to "resonance and response", inviting visitors to understand, reflect, and reconsider their own positions within the broader context. We hope this exhibition is not just something to be viewed, but a starting point of blowing the whistle.
